As The Camp N.Z get’s ever closer it’s great to see The Camps coaching staff leading from the front. In the Open Men’s Ski division at the Thredbo’s Free ride event last week, Camp Colorado Head ski coach Watkin McLennan is crowned champion taking all the money in first place.
In the junior’s, 2009/10 Japan Super Camper Ollie Immers took out second position. Ollie will be retuning to train with Camp Colorado this season in Breckenridge.
Watkin had also, just come off a win at the Falls Creek Big air with 2009/10 campers Ryley Lucas and Ollie Immers finishing 2nd and 3rd in the open division.
After a few weeks on the road, Watkin has settle back at his home mountain (Mt Buller) where his is putting the final touches on his own event www.SoOairtime.com.
