The Camp

BOOKING CONDITIONS

DEFINITIONS: 
'The Camp' means Colde Pty Ltd (ACN: 106 132 530) trading as Global Snow Tours, it's directors, employees, agents and representatives.


GENERAL CONDITIONS
: All participants and parents (for those participants under 18) must complete registration, medical, and code of conduct forms, as well as a liability waiver - these forms will be available in our registration pack, which will be mailed to you after payment of the deposit. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you provide in these forms is correct and up to date.
The Camp reserves the right to expel, deny registration to, or cancel any participant from it's programs at any time prior or during any program without refund. Any costs incurred thereof are the responsibility of the participant.
The Camp reserves the right to change, alter, omit or modify any dates, programs or program details at any stage with or without notice.

Under no circumstances can The Camp be held responsible for snow or weather conditions, or be responsible for any cancellation or amendment by you on the basis of snow or weather conditions.

The Camp cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expense due to delays in air or transportation services, sickness, accidents, weather, strikes, war, terrorist acts, detention, quarantine or other causes.

Participants arriving before, or departing after the official start and end dates of all Japanese camp programs will be charged an additional $150AUD per day. Food, supervision, transport and other general living expenses during this time are the sole responsibility of the participant.

DEPOSIT


To secure a place, a non-refundable deposit of $1000AU for any Progression Camp, together with a registration or expression of interest form. The payment of this deposit is confirmation that you have read, accept and understand the terms and conditions, and that you will sign all The Camp waivers and releases where directed.
Visa, Mastercard and AMEX facilities are available. A 2.5% surcharge applies to all credit card payments. A 4% surcharge applies to all debit card payments (AMEX and Diners). Please contact the The Camp office for more details.

FINAL PAYMENT

Final payment due dates:

Progression Camps 1 and 2
All sessions
December 1, 2011

Important: Please note that all late payments will incur a late fee of $100AU, unless prior written permission is provided by The Camp.
Prices are subject to change with or without notice, according to fluctuations in the Australian Dollar. Quoted prices for the 2011/12 camps and tours are correct as of May 18, 2011.

REFUNDS


The Camp will not provide refunds for any service or otherwise, for any portion of camp or tour payments. Itemisations or breakdowns of camp and tour costs will not be provided under any circumstances. 
This refund policy does not apply for services that are expressly included in our guarantee.

EXCLUSIONS

Unless otherwise expressly indicated, program prices do NOT include:
Airfares, appropriate travel insurance, excess baggage charges, customs duties, passport and visa costs, airport taxes, non-camp associated activities, STD or international telephone calls, equipment hire, any accommodations away from The Camp's program housing (if required), additional costs caused by weather, failure of transportation services, or any other circumstances beyond the control of The Camp, the tour operator or it's directors, employees, principles, agents or representatives. In the unlikely event of poor snow conditions, program organisers may choose to conduct extra day/multiday trips to other resorts at their sole discretion. Participants will be required to pay any costs incurred at these resorts.

Progression Camp includes 6 dinners per week. Transport arrangements can be made to local Niseko restaurants on other nights.

TRANSFERS


Transfers are provided only on specified arrival and departure days. An additional fee of ¥8000JPY will apply for one-way transfers on other dates for Progression participants. POA for other destinations and programs.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Note that insurance is available, and is recommended for cancellations. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
    •   For any cancellation, the full deposit will be forfeited.
    •   For any cancellations received within 30 days before the applicable final payment due date, the entire deposit will be forfeited, in addition to up to 100% of the total amount paid.
    •   Unfortunately, we can not offer any refunds under any circumstances (including medical) for cancellations received after the applicable final payment due date.

All cancellations must be in writing.

INSURANCE


All participants MUST have travel insurance that covers all alpine activities - including back-country travel and terrain park usage. Participants who wish to compete in any competitions must have insurance that covers them during such competitions.
It strongly recommended by The Camp that you take out an insurance policy that covers you for loss of any payment due to injury or sickness etc. This insurance policy must be taken out BEFORE any payment to ensure you are covered for any cancellation.
Our partners at Global Snow Tours have a policy available that you may find suitable. We do not advise you on whether the product is appropriate for your personal needs, objectives or financial situation. Because of this you need to read the Product Disclosure Statement before making any decision about whether to acquire the product.

‘Japan Powder Tours’ means Colde Pty Ltd (ACN: 106 132 530) trading as Japan Powder Tours, it’s directors, employees, agents and representatives.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
All participants must complete registration, medical and liability waivers - these forms will be available in our registration pack, which will be mailed to you after payment of the deposit. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information provided in these forms is correct and up to date.

Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after date of departure. Visa requirements vary between countries and are your sole responsibility. Be sure to contact the relevant embassy or consulate to ensure you have met all requirements. 
It is expected that participants abillity at least meets the relevant minimum standard depicted on videos on the ABILITY page of the Japan Powder Tours website. Participants who do not meet minimum standards for their program will be expected to attend remedial lessons at the local ski school at their own expense, before re-joining the group.
